Fabulous Feet Dance Festivals began in 2000
After being involved in the dance industry for 60 years, Gail Levoir-Bartelen knows what makes a great dance festival.
As a young child of 4 years old, Gail attended her first dance class and by the early age of 12 years old, she was teaching at the very studio that she was attending for her classes.
Just after graduation, realizing that her passion was to DANCE and that her gift was to TEACH, she opened her own studio at 17 years of age. It has been a very successful and rewarding career, with many of her students pursuing professional careers in the dance industry.
Gail began organizing DANCE FESTIVALS over 30 years ago and established FABULOUS FEET PRODUCTIONS in the year 2000.
With her philosophy of positivity, respect, integrity and compassion, she has been able to bring these values from the dance studio to the festival platform to share with all that are in attendance at FABULOUS FEET events.
Back for our 24th Season in 2024, Gail and her staff are proud to be hosting three of the best dance festivals in Canada: Dance Evolution, Dance Invasion, and Diamond Dance Xtreme. They look forward to sharing the excitement and talent with the up and coming rising stars of the future!
WHAT SETS FABULOUS FEET PRODUCTIONS APART?
We pride ourselves in the encouraging and enthusiastic atmosphere at our events, which has been carefully cultivated for 24 years/24 seasons. We want it to be a great experience for everyone involved - from the dancers, to the teachers, and the parents! We want everyone to walk out smiling and proud of their dance performance.
We take pride in being unique in the industry, in that we host FESTIVAL FORMAT at our DANCE EVOLUTION and DANCE INVASION events and COMPETITION FORMAT at our DIAMOND DANCE XTREME events. By having the option of both, this ensures that we can accomodate all dance levels, from recreational through competitive dancers.
At the end of each festival, we hold an Xtreme Challenge Competition, where all qualifying groups receive trophies and those placing 1st, 2nd and 3rd are presented with cash prizes. This exciting finale builds an amazing bond between groups of dancers and competing studios. It is truly a phenomenal event to be a part of, and to watch!
